Product Description: This LED strip is powered by a 5V power supply (not included) and features a 3-pin JST connector with red (VCC), white (GND), and green (DATA) wires. The strip has a 3M adhesive tape on the back, making it easy to install on smooth, clean, and dry surfaces. The LEDs can be cut between each individual LED to create custom lengths, but sharp bending should be avoided. Longer runs should be powered from both ends to reduce voltage drop. The 3-pin JST connector wire is 20AWG.

Waterproof Levels: - IP30: Non-waterproof, suitable for indoor use only. - IP65: Silicone coating splash-proof, providing protection against splashes and dust. Suitable for indoor use only. - IP67: Sheathing waterproof, providing protection against dust and can withstand exposure to water. The 3-pin connectors are not waterproof, so it's recommended for indoor use or outdoor use with waterproof connectors. - IP68: Glue-pouring waterproof, providing the highest level of waterproofing and can even work underwater. The 3-pin waterproof connector ensures complete protection against water and dust. Customization is required for IP68. If you plan to install the LED strip on eaves or other outdoor areas, IP68 is recommended for maximum protection against water and dust.

Calculating Power Needs: One LED chip is about 0.3W. For a 1-meter strip with 144 LEDs, the total wattage is 0.3W x 144 = 43.2W. Since the strip works on 5V, the current required is 43.2W / 5V = 8.64A (approximately 9A). It's recommended to use a power supply with at least 8.64A (around 9A) capacity.
